CBL Basketball

The Country Basketball League (CBL) is an open aged domestic representative competition that is held across Victoria in geographical conferences each year, usually between October and February.  The competition is played on a home and away basis and the season ends with a finals series to determine the conference champion in both Men and Women.

Wodonga Basketball Association has had a long involvement with the CBL having played since the inception of the league in the early 1990’s.  Try Outs for the teams are generally held in August/September each year with the season commencing in early to mid October.  The exact dates will be published on our social media platforms as well as through email and other methods.

Wodonga has had success across the history of the competition, with both the Men’s and Women’s teams winning a number of Conference Championships and a few All-Conference Championships when these were played.
