JUNIOR
REPRESENTATIVE
PROGRAM

The goal of the Wodonga Basketball Association Representative Program is to provide a comprehensive and stimulating development program for players and coaches wishing to compete at a higher level of competition, and to encourage all participants to ‘Be Your Best’.

We endeavor to field Representative Teams and Representative Development Teams to maximise opportunities for players and coaches in all age groups. The program further offers these players and coaches the opportunity to ‘showcase’ their talents across the state.

Representative Player and Team Bylaws

Junior Representative

Representative Basketball is a higher level of basketball than what is on offer at a domestic level. It is also a pathway to other State and National Basketball opportunities. It is a commitment by parents, players, team managers and coaches in time and travel.

Wodonga “Wolves” attend approximately 7 regional Victorian tournaments throughout the Junior Representative season, playing against other regional country teams, including Albury, Echuca, Shepparton, Bendigo, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga - Mulwala, and Mildura. Culminating in attendance at the Basketball Victoria Country State Championships. In 2022/23 our U18 boys took out the Division 1 State title, U14 Girls took out the Division 1 State Title in 2018, and our U12 Boys achieved the same result in 2017.
